About Us
Dimple Bakes was founded by Catherine Ndiaye, a passionate self-taught baker and law student who discovered her love for baking in childhood. She believes that the best way to bring joy to others is through delicious, handcrafted desserts—because, as the saying goes, "the key to the heart is through the stomach."

In 2021, we launched our online bakery in Montreal, Quebec, and have since become known for our wide array of desserts and innovative cupcake flavors, including unique creations like Piña Colada and S'mores. At Dimple Bakes, we take pride in offering high-quality, beautifully crafted desserts at affordable prices.

Since our launch, Dimple Bakes has gained recognition in various ways. Catherine was honoured with the McGill Black Student Network's Entrepreneurship Award in 2023 and was also nominated for the Entrepreneurship Award by Fréquence Québec in 2024, reflecting her dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. We’ve been featured in events and interviews, such as being a panelist for McGill's Africa Speaks Conference, a guest for the Black Healing Centre's series on wellness, and a guest in author Moashella Shortte's Youthful Wisdom Exposed series. We were also proud to be a vendor at Montreal's KIZO festival.

As we’ve grown, our services have expanded to include bento cake decorating workshops, cake tasting services for weddings and special events, as well as catering services to meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

Our flavorful treats include loaves, bread, roll cakes, bundt cakes, bars, cupcakes, and specialty cakes, alongside our signature seasonal menus that feature limited-edition products.

Beyond baking, Dimple Bakes is committed to giving back. We’ve proudly sponsored charity events like Avocats sans frontières UdeM's fundraiser and JSMB’s annual fashion show, reflecting our dedication to supporting the community.

At Dimple Bakes, our mission is simple: to put a smile on your face, one dessert at a time.
